Speaker on Zoom - Tom Peck
Our speaker this evening is Tom Peck
Images of buildings, particularly black & white, long exposure, ‘fine art’ photographs of modern architecture, have become very popular recently. This talk will take us through image making techniques and processing tips to create spectacular photographs of buildings, with examples from London, Paris, Venice & York, whether using a high end DSLR or just a mobile phone.

Photo Skills - Starting Edits
This month we will look at some basic editing. We will look at the main sliders (in RAW editors, eg. Lightroom and Affinity. If time allows we will also start to look at the workspaces in Affinity and Photoshop. This will be a basic level - aimed at reminding members of some of the starting points and to assist those new to editing.
The first session of 2026 will be Tuesday 27th January at The Bowls Club 7:30pm. Just come along. New members are particularly welcome. This session will be a very slow paced beginner session - with plenty of time for questions. Bring your laptops/tablets for if you want to follow along, but no necessity at all. If anyone does want to submit an image to me for me to use as an example, you are more than welcome - send the RAW file by email before 24th January - and include any specifics that you would like to potentially have covered in the session. (If it is above beginner level I will likely keep until the next session.) The aim of the session is a basic introduction to the sliders - the why/what and how!
