This month's creative night brought a fresh twist, transforming the Bowls Club room into a hub of interactive photography stations where members could explore new techniques and capture unique shots. The setup encouraged members to rotate through a variety of themed areas, sparking creativity and collaboration.

Highlights of the evening included a portrait station where members took turns both behind and in front of the camera, capturing each other’s personalities in fun, informal sessions. The still life area offered a moody setup, with a rich, dark chocolate and cherry muffin as the star, complemented by a coffee pot and cup for an atmospheric scene.

Other stations included an oil-on-water setup that allowed members to experiment with a vibrant color backdrop, capturing abstract patterns and textures. A multiple exposure area focused on autumn leaves, giving members the chance to layer and blend images into beautiful, seasonal compositions. The macro table attracted those with a keen eye for detail, with feathers, seeds, and other natural objects as subjects for intricate close-ups.

Finally, a finishing station allowed members to upload their RAW files and develop their images in Lightroom, receiving guidance on enhancing their captures. Throughout the night, more experienced members shared tips and techniques, adding an educational layer to the fun.

Overall, it was a night of hands-on learning and experimentation, resulting in some impressive work and memorable moments. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s final images!
