Our first open competition of the year was an evening of outstanding photography, judged by the highly respected local photographer Sandie Cox. With 37 digital entries and 18 prints, the competition showcased a fantastic variety of subjects, from striking abstracts to breathtaking nature shots.
In the digital category, Mark Halling took first place with his dramatic wildlife image, "Buzzard Spitting Feathers." Sandie provided an engaging and informative critique, offering valuable insights into each entry.
The print competition saw Trish Bloodworth claim the top spot with her elegant still life, "Vase with Honesty."
