Happy New Year!

by | Jan 9, 2018

For our first meeting of the new year members were invited to bring in up to six “cheery” winter images to be enjoyed by all.  It was a great evening with lots of “oohs” and “aahs”  from the assembled company as a collection of skiing grandchildren, giggling grandchildren, cute baby grandchildren, cute kittens, Robins wearing cheery red hats, inflated and deflated Santas and some superb snowy landscapes, some complete with dogs, cyclists, horses and puppies, all paraded in turn across the screen!  Great fun and enjoyed by all.

It was great to welcome four new faces to the club too and we hope to see them back again on a regular basis.

Next Thursday we get the chance to enjoy an AV presentation of the best of the Cheltenham International Salon 2017 entries.  This is always an evening to look forward to.

We were reminded too that next Thursday  11th January we need to bring in our entries for the “Wet” competition which will be judged on 25th January by Martin Cooper.  Also next Thursday we need to bring in our Triptych masterpieces so they can be loaded onto the laptop for discussion and in-house judging on Thursday 18th January.  Good luck to everyone!
